F\u00fcr die ONE DAY EXHIBITION pr\u00e4sentiere ich eine Videoarbeit \u00fcber die Verbindungen zwischen Frauen weltweit, vereint gegen das Patriarchat und die kapitalistische Ausbeutung unserer K\u00f6rper. In dem Video stricken und singen Daria und ich, wie unsere M\u00fctter und Gro\u00dfm\u00fctter. Wir feiern das Leben. Die Erm\u00e4chtigung, die wir einander geben, ist die Kraft, die uns am Leben erh\u00e4lt. Wir widerstehen. Wir leben.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Mirjana Mustra<\/strong> (Belgrad, 1978) ist eine Multimedia-K\u00fcnstlerin, die an der Verschmelzung von bildender Kunst, Performance und Mode arbeitet. Die Erfahrungen einer Frau, einer Migrantin und Gastarbajterka pr\u00e4gten ihre k\u00fcnstlerische Position. Sie experimentiert mit kollektivem Handeln wie Stricken, Kochen und Ritualen als aktivistische Praxis und untersucht deren Potenzial f\u00fcr Empowerment und politische Aktivierung im Alltag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Pr\u00e4sentation erfolgt in der Reihe One Day Exhibitions<\/em><\/strong>, in der Studierende der Fachbereiche Kunst und Bildung<\/em><\/strong> und Gestaltung im Kontext<\/em><\/strong> k\u00fcnstlerische und gestalterische Arbeiten pr\u00e4sentieren. Diese finden im Sommersemester 2022 dreiw\u00f6chentlich sowohl am IKL als auch online in der Virtual Gallery IKL <\/em><\/strong>(https:\/\/virtual-gallery-ikl.akbild.ac.at) statt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Ausstellungsreihe wird von Christoph Urwalek, Elke Krasny, Joonas Lahtinen, Sophie Lingg, Lena Fritsch, Valerie Lange, Miriam Raggam-Alji, Teresa Gatterer, Maria Kaufmann, \u00d6H IKL und dem Atelier IKL betreut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For ONE DAY EXHIBITION, I present a video work on the connections between women worldwide, united against patriarchy and gore capitalist exploitation of our bodies. In the video, Daria and I knit and sing as our mothers and grandmothers did. We celebrate life. The empowerment we give each other is the strength that keeps us alive. We resist. We live.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mirjana Mustra<\/strong> (Belgrade, 1978) is a multi-media artist who works on the fusion of fine arts, performance, and fashion. The experiences of a woman, a migrant, and Gastarbajterka shaped her artistic position. She experiments with collective action such as knitting, cooking, and ritual as an activist practice and explores their potential for empowerment and political activation in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation takes place in the One Day Exhibitions <\/em><\/strong>series, in which students from the faculty of Kunst und Bildung <\/em><\/strong>and Gestaltung im Kontext<\/em><\/strong> present artistic and designed works in the context of their work. These will take place every three weeks in the summer semester 2022 both at the IKL and online in the Virtual Gallery IKL<\/em><\/strong> (https:\/\/virtual-gallery-ikl.akbild.ac.at<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
